http://home.maine.rr.com/eqaditu/ACT/PluginDoc.7z

This link for the plug-in api is corrupt or broken. Seems to be linking to a compressed file, but when I try to open it with winrar it reports as corrupt.

Where can I find the API docs for ACT?

Thanks

The file link seems to work fine to me... except that the server tries to send it as a displayable page instead of a download only. The archive is compressed using 7Zip, which while one of the newest formats, isn't an unknown one. If your version of WinRAR knows of the .7z extension but cannot open it, you may need a more recent version. My copy of 7Zip opens the download fine.

As for why I am using .7z, it should be obvious with a short explanation. The other formats simply compress it poorly. The original files total 17.4MB. Using maximum settings for each format:
Code:
  467,107 PluginDoc.7z
4,053,600 PluginDoc.rar
4,587,534 PluginDoc.zip

I only have 10-15MB of free storage space, so rar/zip formats are not at all viable.

*shrug* I'll just make it an SFX archive instead. No one can complain about not being able to decompress it that way.

ok, I realize no one was interested in the plug in that I suggested, however, I am still very interested so i decided to down load Visual C# Express and start learning... I am sure it will take me a while to get a grip on the whole process but knowledge is power and learning is fun as hell.

Anyhow I was trying to get a hold of your API Documentation... but not sure how to get it.

Well being interested and having time are two different things. Smile

heh... yeah.. sometimes ya have to re-read your posts to realize just how condescending it may seem. Sorry if it came across that way. I probably should have added the not intereseted or not having time rather then just assuming the worst.

but thanks for the links regardless Very Happy
