This plugin was developed by Jarva(Jeag of Najena), this is only a repost from the old forums.

Essentially the two main issues it deals with is how to get more than 255 characters of an encounter summary export into the game at a time, and how to get a summary export into the game with only pressing one button (instead of typing /1 <Ctrl>V).

General Usage
You enable it in the Plugins Screen and go to the config page.

If you have a preset made in ACT already, import it or type in your own. If you want to use ACT's preview interface, make a preset there and save it, then use the load preset button. To make things easy, set the Default Directory for Export Parses as EQ2's folder. The channel can be any chat... '4' for /4, 'say' for /say, 'g' for /g.

Once set up, enter/exit combat as usual and each DoFileCommands config will be run. You can view the Log tab within the Plugin to make sure things proceed.

You can also right-click on any encounter and export it manually.

Once exported, you should be able to see the export file in your EQ2 folder.

Then just create the macro in EQ2 and test it...

Has anyone got this to work? I just downloaded the latest version of ACT, and I can't get this to work right.

Let me know if I'm missing something...thx!

When I add plugin, and enable, I get this:

DoFileCommands.cs
Line: 0 - (CS0042) Unexpected error creating debug information file 'c:\Program Files\Advanced Combat Tracker\temp\DoFileCommands.cs-633384550225668737.pdb' -- 'c:\Program Files\Advanced Combat Tracker\temp\DoFileCommands.cs-633384550225668737.pdb: The system cannot find the path specified.

Hello,

I have everything setup the way it is listed here. I am getting the parse to export to my specified folder, however my macro command is not posting the parse at all.

I have it setup as

/do_file_commands Dmg.txt

Is this exactly how it is to be setup? Or am I missing something?

Hmm, something wrong at me, or SoE changed something? Coz i set for example 30 lines in setup, i get the correct txt file, but still my import is 15 lines, in EQ2.

Any idea?

Server-side spam filtering. If you had the magic ability to type those lines out manually and hit Enter, you would run into the same trouble. The server simply stops delivering your messages for a bit. This only applies to public channels usually.

Make sure not to mistake the configuration of this plugin for the configuration of ACT's innate functionality and visa-versa.

By your screenshot, you are using the macro file that ACT's internal functions export. I do not believe that this plugin can do virtual column spacing.

You either need to use the correct macro file that this plugin exports, or use the configuration in the main ACT application to change the channel.
